Jennifer Riley, Tyngsboro, MA

On March 14, 2006 a grant was issued to Jennifer.  Her husband was deployed to Iraq. She is pregnant and needs to take a leave from work. 


Jennifer Baldino, Norton, MA

On March 14, 2006 a grant was issued to Jennifer to help with expenses while her husband serves in Iraq.

Joanna Loiselle, Middleboro, MA

On March 14, 2006 a grant was issued to Joanna to help with rugs due to flooding while her husband serves in Iraq.

Katherine Tehan, Taunton, MA

On July 17, 2006, a grant was issued to Katherine to help with expenses while her husband serves in Iraq.

John Pepe, Brookline, MA

On July 17, 2006 a grant was issued to John  to help with expenses



Brian Fontaine, Winthrop, MA

On September 13, 2006 a granted was issued to Brian who was injured while serving in Iraq.




Jodi Hobson, North Attleboro, MA

On November 22, 2006 a grant was issued to Jodi to help with expenses while her husband serves in Iraq.



PFC Gerald Krame, Middleboro, MA

On November 22, 2006 a grant was issued to Gerald’s wife to help with expenses while he serves in Iraq.

 

SFC David Bradeen, Framingham, MA

On December 20, 2006 a grant was issued to David’s wife to help with expenses while he serves in Iraq.

 

SCT Marco Dias, Brockton, MA

On December 20, 2006 a grant was issued to Marco to help with expenses while he serves in Iraq.

Jarisma Cotto, Manchester, NH

On January 29, 2006, a grant in the amount of $2,500.00 was given to Jarisma.  Jarisma is 12 years old suffering from Osteo Sarcoma. This grant is to help them with medical expenses not covered by Insurance.


Jessica McComiskey Greim, Masphee, MA

On February 14, 2006 a grant in the amount of $1,000.00 was given to Jessica who is battling brain cancer.  This grant is to help her with unreimbursed medical expenses.  


Ethan Manning, Manchester, NH

On November 22, 2006, a grant in the amount of $1,080.00 was issued to the Manning family.  Ethan recently had a bone marrow and his home needed to be professionally cleaned before he could return.  This grant paid for the cleaning expense


Nicole Cain, East Falmouth, MA

On December 20, 2006 a grant was pledged in the amount of $3,600.00.  Nicole is handicapped and the grant is to install a handicapped bathroom.

Scott Fitts, Westminster, VT

On December 20, 2006 a grant in the amount of $925.00 was issued to Scott & Rhonda Fitts.  Their 9 year old daughter was diagnosed with leukemia.  The grant was to help with uncovered medical expenses.

Gail Doherty
$6,500 grant
Natick, MA

Gail Doherty, from Natick, Massachusetts, a mother of two girls, has suffered for the past four years with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), commonly called Lou Gehrig's disease. Brenda Asis requested help from The Weber Foundation of Helping Hands on behalf of Gail. The Doherty's had to sell their home this year and rising medical costs may deplete all of their funds by early this summer. Gail needs $30,000 to cover her living and home care expenses for the summer. People from the community so far have donated $7,000. If an additional $23,000 is not raised Gail may have to enter a nursing home by June and will not be able to spend the summer with her two girls. The Weber Foundation issued a grant of $6,500 to help alleviate some of the expenses associated with Gail's home care and help her to continue to live with her family during the summer months.

Nathan Carlson
$4,500 grant
Merrimack, NH

On June 14, 2006 a grant for $4,500.00 was given to the Carlson Family.  Nathan is a 7 year old diagnosed with leukemia.  The grant was to pay for trial treatment not covered by health insurance.  Nathan was a student at Tokyo Joe’s Studios.  The monies raised were from a Kick-A-Thon fundraiser held by Tokyo Joe’s Karate Studios Nathan attended.

Harley James Connors
$1,340 grant
Dunstable, MA

On July 17, 2006 a grant in the amount of $1,340.00 was given to the Connors family.  Harley is 3 years old suffering with liver cancer.  The grant was to help pay for expenses while staying at the Ronald MacDonald House while Harley was hospitalized.

Matthew & Debra Watts
$1,500 grant
Goffstown, NH

On January 9, 2006 a grant in the amount of $1,500.00 was given to the Watts.  Their infant son, Logan needed equipment to bring him home from the hospital.  The foundation paid for the electrical work for the equipment

Joshua Baker
$1,000 grant
Manchester, NH

On April 30, 2006 a grant in the amount of $1,000.00 was given to Joshua.  Joshua is an 11 year old who suffers from FSGS.  The grant was to help him with medical expenses.

Kassandra Reischer
 $700 grant
Manchester, NH


On April 30, 2006 a grant in the amount of $700.00 was given to Kassandra Reischer.  Kassandra weighed only 1.9 pounds when she was born.  A grant was given to help with medical expenses not covered by insurance.
